“Know before you go” is a 3–5-hour day in the local mountains around Tromsø with a ski guide or instructor from Tromsø Ski Guides.

We will cover the weather, avalanche, and terrain apps and information we locals use for trip planning. We will discuss the current snowpack and dig a snow pit together. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone that is coming to ski or snowboard in Tromsø. Even experienced backcountry users that are coming to Tromsø for the first time will find value in this local transfer of knowledge. This is a great way to kick start and enhance safety on your Tromsø ski adventure.
